HEJ

We Say HEJ was founded in August 2019 by Hanne Gerhards & Jennifer Reinhard. HEJ (pronounced ‘Hi’) means ‘Hello’ in Danish and stands for connection. Seeing first-hand that teams were not reaching their full potential because of a lack of connection between members, they created HEJ with a mission to connect people to make impact together.

HEJ believes that feeling connected at work is a great business case. When people feel heard and seen, they produce better results. HEJ helps organisations to create a we-are-in-this-together mentality that increases happiness, and helps companies to become more productive. It all starts with a simple hello. That’s why we say HEJ.

Hanne Gerhards

Co-founder HEJ, Facilitator & Coach

Hanne is a people-centric entrepreneur with an MA Degree in Business & Innovation at Hyper Island. Her lifelong experience in theatre brings the science of improvisation to HEJ, where it is used to build high performing teams. Hanne naturally connects people with great enthusiasm and helps them to become more resilient in a fast changing world.

Jennifer is an empathic psychologist with a MSc degree in Behavioural Science at the LSE. She brings her expertise in nudging and human motivation to HEJ, where it is used to help organisations make better decisions. Jennifer creates an atmosphere where people feel understood and empowered to bring about meaningful change.
